Style Profile: Classic pieces make up marketing coordinator’s look

FARGO – In her fluid, ladylike ensemble, Brenna Pratt is elegant and sophisticated – not unlike the old Hollywood stars she admires.

Pratt, 24, keeps her look clean and simple with a neutral color palette and classic accessories.

I spotted the Scheels Home & Hardware marketing coordinator at Starbucks looking effortlessly stylish.

Describe your style. Classic. I like things that are simple and well made.

What are you wearing today? Pants and coat from Zara, shoes from T.J.Maxx, top from Loft, necklace from Wimmer’s Diamonds and bag by Dooney & Bourke.

What’s your style philosophy? I love the feeling of looking like a lady. I like what looks simple and pretty – I don’t need loud clothes to scream my style. I think it’s beautiful when people look like they’re not trying.

Where do you shop? T.J.Maxx – it’s my guilty pleasure; Zara in Chicago; Loft; Forever 21 and Talbots.

What do you splurge on? Nice handbags, shoes, coats, watches, denim (Joe’s Jeans are a favorite brand), dress pants and sweaters. With those staples, you look fabulous!

Who are your style icons? My grandma is a classic, glamorous lady, and I also like old Hollywood movie stars who were feminine and beautiful.

A more recent icon is Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie, in “Sex and the City.” She’s fearless.

What’s one of your most prized possessions? A Persian lamb fur coat my grandma gave me. It was her mother’s, and it’s this fabulous swing coat that I just love.

If you had an unlimited budget, what would you buy? A big, humongous Louis (Vuitton) tote bag.
