Letter: When you hear the fire sirens, stop, pull overI work in a business that overlooks the south Fargo (Osgood) fire station. I witness, on a daily basis, numerous cars that do not stop when the fire trucks and first responders are called to an emergency. They clearly have their lights and sirens on, and at times they even blow their horns, but people still do not stop.
People need to understand that those wasted, inconsiderate, selfish seconds could be used to save a person in a life-or-death situation. Pay attention, people. And when you see the flashing lights, and hear the sirens, stop!
