Sheriff’s office looks for clues in Otter Tail theft

PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. – Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects responsible for stealing items worth about $3,000 from a home here.

Frank Bettin, 68, said an outboard Yamaha motor, sled rifle sighting bench and buck decoy were stolen from his property at 18280 Moccasin Road in Parkers Prairie, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Franks believes the items were stolen once the snow started to melt, sometime between Dec.1 and May 10, the release said.

No physical evidence was left at the scene and no suspects have been identified, the release said.
