International Falls ties record low temperature

International Falls dropped to 22 degrees early this morning, tying its record low temperature for the date.

The record low of 22 degrees for May 12 was first set in 1996.

Other low temperatures from around the Northland this morning included:

21 degrees - Pine River

23 degrees - Hibbing, Crane Lake, Wright, Kabetogama

25 degrees - Orr, Cook, Bigfork

26 degrees - Eveleth, Embarrass

27 degrees - Grand Rapids

28 degrees - Duluth airport, Aitkin, Cloquet, Superior

29 degrees - Babbitt, Butternut, Solon Springs

30 degrees - Two Harbors, Silver Bay, Ely, Moose Lake, Finland

34 degrees - Duluth harbor

The record low for Duluth for today is 24 degrees, set in 1946.

Lows tonight are again forecast to fall into the 20s and low 30s across the region.
