Bison men and women win Summit League track and field championshipsMUNCIE, Ind. – The North Dakota State men’s and women’s track and field team claimed another first place title on Saturday at the Summit League Championships finishing with 249 and 241.5 points, respectively.
The Bison have won five out of the last six men’s championships since joining the Summit League in 2008.
The Bison men swept the top four places in the 800 meters with Travis Fitzke taking first place with a time of 1 minute, 51.68 seconds.
Antoinette Goodman won three events for the Bison women and set a Summit League Championship record in the 200 meters with a time of 23.85. It was the sixth straight championship for the Bison women.
Goodman also won the 100-meter dash in 11.68 and the 400-meter relay with a time of 45.46.
