NDSA honors Flakoll, former student repFARGO – The North Dakota Student Association on Friday honored Sen. Tim Flakoll, R-Fargo, and former state Board of Higher Education student representative Robert Vallie for advocating on behalf of the state’s college students.
The NDSA, which represents the more than 48,000 students of the North Dakota University System, voted April 13 to select Flakoll as the recipient of the Student Advocate Award. He was presented with the honor at the North Dakota State University campus on Friday.
The group also selected Vallie, who was on the state board for the 2011-12 academic year, as the recipient of the Most Dedicated Delegate Award.
