Moorhead to host Corridor Clean Up DayMOORHEAD – Now that residential Cleanup Week is nearly complete, the city of Moorhead is encouraging volunteers to assist city crews clean up sidewalks, boulevards and road rights of way Thursday during Corridor Clean Up Day.
Volunteer projects, times and meeting locations are as follows:
• 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Interstate 94 Adopt a Highway segment, Menards, 3000 27th Ave. S.
• 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Main Avenue Southeast/
Highway 52, Moorhead Youth Hockey Arena, 707 Main Ave. SE.
• 1:30 to 4 p.m., BNSF fence lines, Moorhead Center Mall parking ramp, lower level.
• 1:30 to 4 p.m., Highway 10 corridor from 20th to 34th streets, former Bennigan’s parking lot at 3333 Highway 10 E.
Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required, and cloth work gloves are suggested. Safety vests, disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided.
