Minnesotan killed in semi-truck crashMENOMONIE, Wis. - A 45-year-old Stacy, Minn., man is dead and a 48-year-old Illinois man is injured after two trucks crashed Thursday along Interstate 94.
The semi-trailers crashed about 12:55 a.m. about six miles west of Menomonie, forcing traffic to be diverted off I-94, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The victims’ names had not been released Thursday.
The driver who was killed drove for Logistics Services Inc. out of Eagan, Minn. He died at the scene.
The driver of the second rig was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said. He was identified only as a 48-year-old man from Matton, Ill.
