Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Blue Oyster Cult, Gloriana to play RibFest
Pop rock band Sugar Ray, known for songs like “Fly” and “Every Morning,” plays the first night of RibFest. Country/folk group Nitty Gritty Dirt Band plays June 6, with hits such as “Fishin’ In the Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles.”
Blue Öyster Cult headlines the third night of RibFest. In more than 40 years of playing music, the hard rock band has scored hits like “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and “Burnin’ For you.”
Country group Gloriana closes out the four-day event. The band won Top New Vocal Group at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards. They released their sophomore album, “A Thousand Miles Left Behind,” in July 2012.
