Cobbers, Auggies split in MIAC baseball twinbill

MOORHEAD – Kyle Kraemer’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Concordia a 7-6 victory over Augsburg in the first game of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball doubleheader on Sunday.

Kraemer’s hit capped a five-run inning for the Cobbers (12-8, 5-3 MIAC).

In the nightcap, the Auggies countered with a late-inning rally of their own, scoring six runs in the top of the eighth inning for a 13-11 win.
