Two ND water districts getting large federal loans

STANLEY, N.D. — Two North Dakota water districts are getting more than $2.5 million in federal financing to expand service.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development State Director Jasper Schneider says the South Central Regional Water District is getting a $1.3 million loan to bring service to 230 rural customers in Emmons, Logan and McIntosh counties.

The Stutsman Rural Water District is getting a similar loan to expand service to 90 new customers, including residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial users.
