Hires and promotions (April 27)ProRehab hires Kirchner as physical therapist
ProRehab Physical and Occupational Therapy, Fargo, has added Tracy Kirchner to its physical therapy staff. She works with patients at ProRehab’s main clinic and at its satellite clinic at Touchmark at Harwood Groves, Fargo.
Kirchner earned a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association and specializes in therapy and rehabilitation for seniors.
Zerr Berg Architects hires Mertz, Wright
Zerr Berg Architects, Fargo, has hired Mandel Mertz and Richard Wright as project managers.
Both have a master’s degree in architecture from North Dakota State University.
Gehrtz hires Cook as construction manager
Gehrtz Construction Services, Fargo, has hired Brandon Cook as a construction manager.
Cook has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Credit Collections Bureau promotes four
Mary Jones, Reggie Gibson, Jens Richard and Karla Stewart, all of Fargo, have been promoted to collection specialists with the Credit Collections Bureau.
Three new hires at S&S Promotional Group
S&S Promotional Group, Fargo, has hired Ben Rheault as a screen printer, and Denielle Leland and Olivia Olson as embroiderers.
Rheault studied painting at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. He is also a working artist.
Leland earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications from MSUM and Olson has more than six years of embroidery experience.
Noridian Administrative Services promotes four
Noridian Administrative Services, Fargo, has promoted Emy Stenerson to senior vice president of Medicare operations, jurisdiction F, Paul O’Donnell to senior vice president of Medicare operations, jurisdiction E, Sandra Skallerud to vice president of Medicare operations, durable medical equipment, and Karla Isley to vice president of contract administration.
Stenerson previously was vice president of durable Medicare equipment. She has 28 years of Medicare experience and 21 years of experience in managing complex systems and workflows. Stenerson grew up in Barnesville, Minn., and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
O’Donnell began his Noridian career in 1994 as a customer service trainer in the Colorado office. He was promoted to manager of the Washington office and later to assistant vice president of government programs. He was promoted to vice president of Medicare field offices and later served as vice president of Medicare operations. A native of California, he earned a bachelor’s degree in humanities at Christendom College, Front Royal, Va.
Skallerud joined Noridian in 2009 as a manager in DME medical review, data analysis and provider outreach and education. She was born in Madison, Minn., and earned a degree as a registered nurse from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Fargo. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health facilities management and a master‘s degree in business administration with a focus on finance and marketing from MSUM.
Isley joined Noridian in 2000 as a systems coordinator. She was promoted to team leader in provider enrollment, team leader in special projects, manager of special projects and later to contract administrator for jurisdiction F, jurisdiction D and pricing, data analysis and coding. Isley grew up near Dalton, Minn., and earned a bachelor’s degree in health care management from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, and earned a master’s certificate in government contracting from George Washington University, Washington.
Border States Electric hires 1, promotes 2
Border States Electric, Fargo, has hired Brent Leith as utility market manager, and promoted Bruce Penas to industrial market manager and Todd Kadry to business intelligence manager.
Leith was previously a consultant for Electric Reliability Council of Texas, First Choice Power and Midwest Independent System Operator. He then worked for First Choice Power and most recently worked for Oracle for five years in product management, industry strategy and worldwide alliances.
Penas joined BSE in 2008 as the northwest region business development manager. Most recently he was the northwest region industrial sales manager.
Kadry joined BSE in 1999 as an inventory planner. In 2001 he was named marketing services supervisor and later held the marketing manager and marketing solutions manager positions and was recently the industrial market manager.
Stroh, Zander promoted at VISIONBank in Fargo
VISIONBank, Fargo, has promoted Judy Stroh to assistant vice president of operations and Jeff Zander to assistant vice president of retail banking.
Stroh has 12 years of experience in the banking industry. She is originally from West Fargo and graduated from West Fargo High School. She joined VISIONBank seven years ago as an operations assistant. She earned the accredited ACH professional certification in 2011 and was promoted in 2012 to senior operations officer.
Zander is from Fargo and graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He also graduated from the North Dakota School of Banking. He has been with VISIONBank for six years and has 15 years of banking experience.
Hanger Clinic names orthotic resident
Jennifer Ellefson-LaGosh has joined the Hanger Clinic in Fargo as an orthotic resident.
She graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in exercise science and from Northwestern University Prosthetic Orthotic Center, Chicago, with a certificate in orthotics.
Lance Rick joins TMI as director of safety
TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Lance Rick as director of safety.
Rick earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary, Fargo.
He most recently served as the safety manager for American Crystal Sugar, Moorhead.
Stadum joins father in financial business
Tom Stadum has joined his father, Roger Stadum, at UBS Financial Services, Fargo.
Tom will represent the third generation of Stadum’s in the financial services business. He graduated in 2012 from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He also recently completed the Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA examinations.
John Deere Electronic Solutions hires Johnson
John Deere Electronic Solutions, Fargo, has hired Megan Johnson as a human resource representative.
Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in business management from North Dakota State University.
Johnson named GM of Ellendale telecom
Robert “Bob” Johnson has been named chief executive officer and general manager of Dickey Rural Networks, Ellendale, N.D.
Johnson is a native North Dakotan with 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before joining DRN, he worked for IdeaOne Telecom in Fargo, where he served for 10 years as president/CEO. He also previously worked for 10 years as the operations manager at North Dakota Telephone Co., Devils Lake.
Johnson attended high school in Devils Lake and earned a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University.
Lee hired as credit, collections analyst
Amber Lee has been hired as credit and collections analyst for General Equipment and Supplies. She will be based in the corporate headquarters in Fargo.
She previously worked at Vogel Lawn Firm and GRB Financial Corp.
Originally from Hillsboro, N.D., Lee attended Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Jeff Thomas hired at Cornerstone Bank
Jeff Thomas has joined Cornerstone Bank, Fargo, as the senior vice president and business banking manager.
Thomas has more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry in the Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo area.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and is a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Jennifer McKinney hired as staffing consultant
Jennifer McKinney has joined Preference Personnel Administrative Staffing in Fargo as a staffing consultant.
She focuses on office positions including receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service and bookkeeping.
Otter Tail Corp. promotes Kari Alme
Otter Tail Corp. has promoted Kari Alme to manager of benefits, human resource management system and payroll. She is based at the corporate headquarters in Fargo.
Alme has an extensive background in human resources, having worked in HR roles with Clay County, Tharaldson Property Management and Banner Health Systems. She has been employed with Otter Tail Corp. since 2010 as HRMS manager.
She is a graduate of Mayville (N.D.) State University with a degree in business administration.

Jeremy Anderson and Shane Cullen have joined Park Co. Realtors in Fargo as sales associates.
Anderson is a graduate of Moorhead High School and attended Concordia College. He was previously employed with UPS and has several years of sales experience.
Cullen is a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College. He also holds an auctioneer’s license in Minnesota.
BCBS of North Dakota names PR manager
Andrea Dinneen has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as manager of public relations.
She previously worked as a media relations strategist at Sanford Health, Fargo.
A native of Willmar, Minn., she graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in business and communications with an emphasis in public relations.
William Ferris promoted to career coordinator
The Farmers Insurance Group’s district office of Tyson Terhark, 1535 42nd St. S., Fargo, has promoted William Ferris to career coordinator.
Ferris earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He previously worked as a marketing specialist for 3M in New York and was a staff member for former U.S. Congressman Arlan Stangeland of Minnesota.
Ferris was also previously the business development manager at IdeaOne Telecom, Fargo.
Eventide promotes Fenno, Griego
Eventide Senior Living Communities, Moorhead, has promoted Melodee Fenno to corporate director of home care and clinical education, and Angelo Griego to corporate director of quality and risk management.
Fenno graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Duluth, Minn., with a registered nurse diploma. She completed Aging Services of Minnesota’s Nurse Manager Home Care Certification and Leadership Academy. She has been employed with Eventide since 2006, previously as housing manager at Eventide Fairmont.
Griego earned an associate degree in nursing from Hesston (Kan.) College. He has been with Eventide since 2010 as the director of quality and risk management at Eventide on Eighth.
Corporate Technologies makes five new hires
Corporate Technologies, Fargo, has hired Weston Hecker, Jeremy Jones, Tom Brusven, Mathew Gallagher and Neil Schmidt as systems engineers.
Hecker attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, majoring in computer science and geophysics. He was previously employed at ID Systems, Title Systems Network Analyst, Minneapolis, and Neset Consulting, Tioga, N.D.
Jones studied computer science at Williston (N.D.) State College. His previous work experience includes field system administrator at Sysco Foods of North Dakota, Fargo, technical support representative and trainer at Sykes, Minot, N.D., and system administrator II at PRACS, Fargo.
Brusven graduated from Alexandria (Minn.) Technical College with an associate degree as a computer technical support specialist and computer and voice networking. He was previously employed at BlueCross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo, Northern Plains Electric Cooperative, Cando, N.D., and PRACS, Fargo.
Gallagher will graduate this summer from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in computer information technology. He previously worked as a network administrator for Schnabel Inc., Hendrum, Minn., and also served in the U.S. Army.
Schmidt graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, as a microcomputer specialist and North Dakota State University with a degree in management information systems. He was previously employed at Gateway Computers, Unisys and Microsoft, all in Fargo.
Schrom, Kava hired at NDSCS in Wahpeton
The North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, has hired Patricia Schrom as dean of extended learning and Kerri Kava as assistant director of student life.
Schrom graduated from Winona (Minn.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She previously worked as the executive dean for Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead.
Kava graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis in broadcast journalism and a minor in speech communications. She previously worked for Forum Communications Co. in Fargo as the Learning Forum coordinator, and as the cooperative education coordinator and enrollment services specialist in the NDSCS enrollment services office.
RealTruck.com hires chief people officer
E-commerce company RealTruck.com, based in Jamestown, N.D., has hired Matt Heinzen as its chief people officer.
A former human resources manager at PRACS Institute, Fargo, Heinzen is also the current director of professional development at the North Dakota State Society of Human Resources Management and is a certified professional in human resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
City of Moorhead hires three new employees
The city of Moorhead has hired Matt Maslowski as the business development and retention service manager, Kim Citrowske as assistant planner and Tia Braseth as community development program administrator.
Maslowski previously worked at Bremer Bank, Minneapolis, where he was a market manager/assistant vice president in the commercial finance division. He was also a branch manager for U.S. Bank, Minneapolis. A native of Bismarck, he has a bachelor’s degree in business management and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary, Fargo.
Citrowske previously worked for the city of Fargo where she was an assistant planner for more than four years. She has bachelor degrees in architecture and environmental design from North Dakota State University.
Braseth previously taught at NDSU in architecture and landscape architecture, and managed projects at a local fabrication company. She has bachelor’s degrees in architecture and environmental design from NDSU and is finishing a master’s degree in community development. She will also be testing to become a licensed architect.
Blindspot hires Condon as video producer
Blindspot Productions has hired Chris Condon as a video producer.
Matt Philipenko is owner of the company that has been in business in the Fargo-Moorhead and Minot, N.D., area for nine years.
Condon previously worked in California and Florida in television and movie production, video production and he has been behind the camera in television news/sports and commercial productions.
