800 Café to serve spring-themed lunchesFARGO – The 800 Café, a restaurant managed by students at North Dakota State University, will serve a “Spring Blossoms” lunch on Thursday and a “Garden Party” lunch on Friday.
The café is in the Family Life Center, Room 312, at NDSU. Seating starts at 11 a.m. with the last seating at 12:15 p.m.
The “Springs Blossoms” lunch, managed by dietetic student Frances Liu, will include potato soup with shredded cheddar and green onion, grilled apricot chicken with asparagus, broccoli and tomatoes served with sticky rice and raspberry sorbet delight for dessert.
The menu for the “Garden Party” meal, managed by dietetic student Danielle Robb, will include tossed summer berry salad with homemade blackberry vinaigrette and a warm breadstick, honey and soy marinated chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, thyme roasted asparagus and a blueberry coconut cheesecake bar for dessert.
