ND Oil Patch cleanup effort to begin in New TownBISMARCK — The North Dakota Petroleum Council's so-called Pick Up the Patch is slated to begin Tuesday in New Town.
The effort is aimed at cleaning up garbage that's littering the Oil Patch in western North Dakota. It's being organized by New Town community leaders and oil and gas companies operating in the area.
Similar cleanup efforts are slated this year in Williston and Parshall.
The North Dakota Petroleum Council started the cleanup campaign last year complaints of the growing trash problem spurred by the oil boom.
