Tuesday Tip: Pizza cutter a quick way to cut kids’ food
I was a little confused when my friend pulled a pizza cutter out of the drawer. I thought we were feeding the kids spaghetti, not pizza.
Then, in a brilliant bit of parenting, she ran the round cutter back and forth across the piles of noodles on each child’s plate, quickly and easily cut the long strands into bite-size pieces. It was a lot faster than my typical fork-cutting method.
I soon adapted this little trick to other meals.
The next morning, I used a pizza cutter to quickly cut the kids’ pancakes into triangles.
I’ve also used this tip when serving quesadillas, grilled cheese and, of course, pizza.
