Fargo’s Roesler wins 800 elite event at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. – Fargo South graduate Laura Roesler ran the women’s 800 meters in 2 minutes, 1.746 seconds to win the elite invite portion of the 800 at the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday.

The University of Oregon junior posted the fastest time of any American runner in the country this season, according to www.flotrack.org.

Former Fargo South and North Dakota State runner Semehar Tesfaye finished eighth in the women’s 5,000 meters Olympic Development Elite race. Tesfaye, who runs for Arkansas, had a time of 16:04.78.
