WW II internment camp descendant to speakFARGO – Kyoko Norma Nozaki, whose ancestors were in an internment camp at Fort Lincoln in Bismarck during World War II, will recount her family’s experience in a presentation, “Internment and Identity Shift: Through Transnational War Memory” from noon to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday in the Memorial Union Century Theater.
Her presentation, which is free and open to the public, is part of NDSU’s observation of Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. A reception will follow in Memorial Union’s Butte Lounge.
