NDSUs IT division

promotes 1, hires 1

The North Dakota State University Information Technology Division has named Nathan Olson as manager of enterprise systems and has hired Nem Schlecht as a systems administrator, both in the enterprise computing and infrastructure department.

Olson has more than nine years of systems administration experience in higher education. He has worked in various positions in NDSUs IT division since 2004. He earned a bachelors degree in computer science from NDSU.

Schlecht has 20 years of systems and database administration experience in higher education and the private sector. He was the senior UNIX systems administrator for the NDSU Libraries and also worked as the information technology coordinator for Packet Digital, Fargo. He was later a database administrator for Multiband USA, Fargo. Schlecht earned bachelor and master degrees in computer science from NDSU.

Nyland joins TIP

program in Moorhead

Andrea Nyland has been hired by The Village Family Service Center as a family advocate with the Truancy Intervention Program in Moorhead.

Nyland earned a bachelors degree in psychology and sociology with a minor in criminal justice from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall. She will graduate in May from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a masters degree.

Curtis hired as manager of costume collection

Susan Curtis has been hired as the collections manager for the Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection, part of the apparel, design and hospitality management department at North Dakota State University.

Curtis earned a masters degree in museum studies, with a collections management focus, and a minor in textiles, clothing and design from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

She previously was collections manager and assistant curator at the Great Plains Art Museum and collections/Native American Graves Repatriation Act assistant at the University of Nebraska State Museum.

Starion hires business banking officer in Fargo

Robby Lundbohm has joined Starion Financial as a business banking officer at the banks Urban Plains location in Fargo.

Lundbohm has worked in the banking industry for more than seven years, with experience in credit and risk management.

He previously worked as a financial institutions examiner for the Minnesota Department of Commerce and as a risk management examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. He has a bachelors degree in math and organizational communications from Concordia College.

Systems hires three

Liberty Business Systems, Fargo, has hired Perry Kinzel as a warehouse clerk, Jeff Witty as a shop technician and Gabe Malberg as a copier technician.

Bremer Bank promotes

Lund to vice president

Bremer Bank has promoted Jennifer Lund to vice president in treasury management in Fargo. She was previously an assistant vice president in the treasury management area.

Lund was a credit analyst at Community First Bank in Fargo and joined Bremer Bank in 2000 as a credit analyst in Fargo. She moved into treasury management in 2002 and was named assistant vice president in treasury management banking in 2004. She has a bachelors degree in business from North Dakota State University.

Country Financial hires Kalenze in Fargo office

Jessica Kalenze, West Fargo, has been named a financial representative for Country Financial at the companys office at 4166 31st Ave. S., Fargo.

Kalenze earned an associate degree in liberal arts from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.

Stoltman hired at Early Intervention Partners

Early Intervention Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo, has hired Rachel Stoltman as an early interventionist.

Stoltman will continue to work as a speech-language pathologist at Pediatric Therapy Partners, Fargo, where she has worked since 2011.

Stoltman earned a bachelors degree in early childhood education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a masters degree in speech-language pathology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

She has worked with the pediatric and adult population in medical and school settings and provides therapy for language, articulation, voice, augmentative and alternative communication, fluency, social aspects and cognition. She is also certified in visual phonics and Beckman Oral Motor.

Eliason named dean

at Concordia College

Concordia College has named Eric Eliason dean of the college and vice president for academic affairs. He succeeds Mark Krejci, who after nine years as Concordias dean and provost, will return to teaching psychology.

Eliason is currently professor of English at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minn., where he has been on the faculty since 1989.

He graduated from Augustana College in Illinois with majors in English and mathematics and computer science. He earned masters and doctorate degrees in English language and literature from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

Liftn Buddy hires

sales coordinator

Brad Lindemann has been hired as the sales coordinator for Liftn Buddy, Fargo.

Lindemann is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in business administration.

General Equipment

hires five employees

Daniel Swartz has been hired as the information technology network and systems manager for General Equipment and Supplies, Fargo.

The company has also hired Amy Loomer as the systems administrator, Dave Grandalen as a customer service and support representative, Wes Klosterman as an aggregate apprentice and Ryan Hepola as a field service lube tech.

Swartz, originally from South Bend, Ind., attended the University of Phoenix. He previously worked for the Fargo Catholic Schools Network as an IT facilitator.

Aesthetician joins

SimplySKIN in Fargo

Dena Pagel, a licensed aesthetician, has joined SimplySKIN Aesthetic Services at 7 Day Clinic, Fargo.

Pagel has several years of experience in a clinical setting as a medical assistant.

She offers services that include lash extensions, full body waxing, wraps, LED therapy, HydraFacials and Jessner chemical peels.

Melberg hired at TMI

as telecom service tech

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Justin Melberg as a telecom service/install technician.

Melberg graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, and was previously employed by TMI Communications of Fargo for two years.

Most recently, he provided help desk support for McDonalds at Restaurant Technologies, Fargo.

NetWork Center hires Ryan as sales specialist

NetWork Center, Fargo, has hired Jon Ryan as a technical sales specialist.

He previously worked for 11 years with Microsoft as an IT manager. He also has eight years of sales and support experience.

Aker Chiropractic

hires new chiropractor

Aker Chiropractic, 1150 Prairie Parkway, West Fargo, has hired chiropractor Heidi Western.

Western graduated from North Dakota State University and is a recent graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Bloomington, Minn.

Her areas of interest include treating the pediatric population and pregnant women. She has had further training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Western is also certified in the Webster Technique for treating pregnant women.
