Ted Nugent sighting in East Grand ForksGRAND FORKS - In town for his Midwest Rock ‘N Roll Express tour Thursday night, Ted Nugent and his entourage dined Wednesday at Little Bangkok at 302 DeMers Ave. in East Grand Forks.
“It was nice to see them supporting a local business,” said Michael Erickson, 26, who served Nugent’s party of six.
“I’m assuming the other people he was with were his manager and roadies,” Erickson said.
The group strolled in at about 5 p.m., before the dinner rush.
Nugent knew what he wanted right away, and ordered Little Bangkok’s Garlic Lamb without looking at the menu.
Asked if the group sported classic rocker garb, Erickson said, Nugent “was the least dressed as a rock star of the group."
“He looked like any guy who could’ve walked out of Cabela’s,” Erickson said, which reinforces Nugent’s outdoorsy persona.
And even though Nugent is a star, the group still tipped well.
There were no chances for a photo opp, Erickson said.
“Everyone was too nervous to take any pictures.”
Nugent, REO Speedwagon and STYX rocked the Ralph Engelstad Center on Thursday night.
