NDDOT hosting teen driver safety contest

BISMARCK – The North Dakota Department of Transportation is hosting its annual NDTeenDrivers Traffic Safety Contest.

Teens can promote traffic safety in their school and community by producing a 30-second video or designing a billboard about the topic of seat belt safety.

The winning billboard will be displayed across the state and the winning video will air for a week on local television stations and will also play for a year at Carmike movie theaters across the state.

The contest is open to students ages 14 through 19 enrolled in a North Dakota middle or high school.

This year’s contest runs through Sept. 30. Rules and registration forms can be found online at http://goo.gl/x0ppP.
