Reigning MVP Jackson to return to RedHawks

FARGO – The American Association’s Most Valuable Player last season will be returning to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Outfielder Nic Jackson re-signed with the team, according to a news release Wednesday. The 33-year-old hit .309 with 17 homers and 89 RBIs in 91 games last season.

He will be in his fifth season with the RedHawks, originally signing with the club prior to the 2009 season.
