Theatre B announces 2013-14 seasonFARGO – Theatre B on Friday announced its upcoming 2013-14 season, the theater’s eleventh.
The season will open in September with the 2010 Tony Award-winning “Red,” about artist Mark Rothko giving up his most publicized commission.
During the holiday season, Theatre B will put on “Scrooge Macbeth; or, a Shakespearean Christmas,” about four actors trying to save their theater after an outbreak of food poisoning.
Following that will be “Gruesome Playground Injuries,” about the physical scratches and emotional bruises of two friends throughout 30 years of their friendship.
“Clybourne Park” will close out the season. That play, a 2012 Tony Award winner, is set in the house from “A Raisin in the Sun,” and examines the actions of neighborhood residents at the time and their descendants 50 years later as they deal with gentrification.
