Man sentenced to 12 years in drug conspiracy caseFARGO — A man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine in North Dakota.
Kyle Lindquist pleaded guilty in October to conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He was arrested in July of last year in Moorhead.
Authorities say the charge involved more than 500 grams of meth.
Prosecutors had recommended a sentence of 14 years in prison. Lindquist's attorney asked for nine years.
U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson says Lindquist must serve five years of supervised release after he completes his prison term.
