North Dakota Legislature cancels Monday session due to storm

BISMARCK — The North Dakota Legislature has canceled its Monday session because of the spring snowstorm that has made travel difficult or impossible in much of the state.

On a notice posted on its website, the Legislature announced that lawmakers planned to resume work Tuesday.

The storm was expected to dump up to 18 inches of snow in south-central North Dakota, with the state's eastern edge to get up to 7 inches.
