A group of employee-owners from Border States Electric in Fargo recently volunteered at the Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo.
They received a tour of the facility and then helped pick and pack boxes filled with donated food for area individuals and families.

AgCountry Farm Credit Services has donated more than $14,000 for hunger relief efforts in eastern North Dakota and west-central Minnesota.
A portion of the money was distributed to the Great Plains Food Bank and Emergency Food Pantry, Fargo, Churches United for the Homeless and Dorothy Day House, Moorhead, and the Hawley (Minn.) Food Pantry.
This is the 23rd year AgCountry has donated funds to local food pantries.
Advertising group assists nonprofits
Members of the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota partnered with area advertising and marketing agencies to provide local nonprofit agencies with a variety of agency-related expertise.
Flint Communications, Sundog and Thuen Design/Photography assisted Churches United for the Homeless with a logo refresh, a new website and expansion of the organization’s photo library.
Sundog also helped Lakes and Prairies Community Action and CCRI with social media education.
Brite-Way donates funds to Churches United
Churches United for the Homeless, Moorhead, has received a $2,000 donation from Brite-Way Window Cleaning.
The funds will be used for general operating expenses.
