hires two new stylists
Village Hair Design, 3105 Broadway, Fargo, has hired stylists Mary Leedom and Michelle McGowan.
Leedom graduated from Mr. Dons State College of Beauty, Fargo, and previously worked at Cost Cutters and Thrifty Cuts.
McGowan trained at Ritas Beauty School in Moorhead. She was previously the operating manager at Thrifty Cuts in Fargo, specializing in precision cutting, highlights, clipper cutting and color techniques.
Border States Electric names VP of operations
Phillip Settles has been named vice president of operations for Border States Electric, Fargo
Settles joined BSE in 2006 when the company acquired Nunn Electric Supply, where he had worked since 2001. Settles has served in various positions for BSE, including area operations manager, branch operations manager and south-central region operations manager. Most recently, he was vice president of the south-central region.
He has also served on the executive council since 2012. Settles was selected as one of the first participants in BSEs management trainee program when it was launched in 2006. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
The Village hires Cook as family facilitator
Dana Cook has joined the staff at The Village Family Service Center in Fargo as a facilitator in the family group decision-making program.
She graduated from Valley City (N.D.) State University on the North Dakota State University campus with a bachelors degree in education.
Her previous work experience includes classroom teaching and nutrition education with the Cass County Extension Service.
Two new team members at RDO Equipment Co.
Angela Pogue and Tory Williams have joined the RDO Equipment Co. Field Support Office, Fargo.
Pogue is a uniform commercial code specialist and most recently worked at Fabricators Supply. She earned a bachelors degree in business from Concordia College.
Williams is a marketing specialist and most recently worked at Western Products. He earned a bachelors degree in marketing and a degree in management from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Megan Smith as a telecom billing analyst.
She attended the Minnesota School of Business and previously worked as a major account specialist at Labor Ready, Tacoma, Wash.
McGraw joins Noridian as president and CEO
Tom McGraw has joined Noridian Administrative Services, Fargo, as president and chief executive officer.
McGraw previously was senior vice president of business development at Amerigroup Corp., and senior vice president of government solutions and government program integrity at OptumInsight. He also held executive positions at MAXIMUS and the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services.
McGraw has served as an expert on government health care programs, program integrity, managed care and payment methodologies to health plans, federal and state government agencies, state legislatures and Congress.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., McGraw earned a masters degree in economics from Old Dominion University and completed doctoral studies in business at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond.
Hagen promoted to GM at Fargo Ground Round
Samara Hagen has been promoted to general manager at The Ground Round, 2902 13th Ave. S., Fargo.
A Grafton, N.D., native, Hagen has more than 16 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including five years with the Fargo Ground Round, where she has worked as the manager and assistant general manager.
Purple Wave Auction territory manager hired
Purple Wave Auction has named Philip Mathias as a territory manager in eastern South Dakota, eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.
The Internet auction company focuses on agriculture, construction, and truck and trailer auctions.
Mathias is originally from New Zealand and has several years of experience in the agriculture, construction and commercial vehicle industries.
Carlson, Groom join New York Life as agents
Veronica Lynn Carlson and Richard Groom have joined the New York Life Insurance office in Fargo as agents.
Carlson is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Groom was previously manager of Bankers Life and Casualty, Moorhead.

Mehus as consultant

Rodke hired as speech, language pathologist
Stephanie Rodke, a speech-language pathologist, has joined Pediatric Therapy Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo.
Rodke earned a masters degree in speech-language pathology and a bachelors degree in speech, language and hearing sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
She worked in the public school system serving early childhood special education students and children with a variety of speech and language disorders. Her areas of interest include language disorders and autism spectrum disorders.
