Man charged with robbing Devils Lake bowling alley

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Devils Lake Police say one of two men accused of robbing a bowling alley is in custody.

KZZY reports that 18-year-old Johnson Tollefson, of St. Michael, has been charged with felony robbery. His bond has been set at $25,000.

Authorities say Tollefson and a second person robbed the Royal Lanes Bowling Alley on Sunday at knifepoint. The two fled with an undetermined amount of cash. An employee working was not hurt.

Devils Lake Police Chief Keith Schroeder says the department is still looking for the second suspect.
