Style Profile: Fargo woman mixes classic pieces with edgy details

FARGO – Jimmie Rosenfeldt’s style is best represented by her choice in fashion magazines – classic fashion bible Vogue and edgy pop culture and fashion publication, Nylon.

The 26-year-old I spotted at Dunn Bros Coffee combines classic style staples like cardigans with funky jewelry and bold glasses for a creative, modern and trendy look.

Describe your style. I wear what I like.

What are you wearing today? My outfit is mostly from Gap, booties are from Macy’s, tigers eye ring is Lia Sophia, spoon ring is from a friend, necklace from Forever 21, glasses frames from a thrift store in Redwing, Minn., that I had my prescription lens put in and Coach bag from My Best Friend’s Closet.

What era of fashion do you like right now? I’m attracted to the 1960s – that style is kind of coming back.

Who’s your current style icon? Edie Sedgwick.

What’s your favorite item in your closet? A floral shift dress from Hunt & Gather in Minneapolis.

Where do you shop? Anthropologie, eBay, Gap and Forever 21.

How many tattoos do you have? Three – one of a Razorcake (the logo for an independent and underground punk zine), a peacock feather on my forearm and a spirograph-like design on the back of my arm.

Cats or dogs? Cats, I have two – a Norwegian forest cat and an American short hair.

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? My future self at age 80 to see if I aged gracefully.
