Actor Gulsvig returns for concert at NDSU

FARGO – Moorhead native-turned stage star, Becky Gulsvig returns for an April 6 concert at Askanase Hall on the North Dakota State University campus.

The Moorhead High School and Trollwood alum has gone on to act in “All My Children” and as Elle Woods in the first national tour of “Legally Blonde”. She was nominated for a Helen Hayes award for the latter and appeared at the 63rd Annual Tony Awards, The View, The Today Show, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Most recently she played Eponine in “Les Miserables” at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Florida.

Gulsvig’s concert will feature selections from “The Sound of Music,” “The Little Mermaid,” “South Pacific,” “Wicked,” “Legally Blonde,” “Les Miserables,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and others.

She will be joined on stage by Katherine Noone, soprano and NDSU theatre faculty member, in addition to several area students who auditioned to perform with Gulsvig.
