Letter: Animal coalition urges OK of bill

The North Dakotans for Responsible Animal Care working group is a coalition of farmers, ranchers, veterinarians, animal shelter workers, zoo staff, the Department of Agriculture and the Board of Animal Health who, over the course of about three years, and with the help and advice of the Legislative Council and the attorney general’s office, has worked together to draft the humane treatment of animals bill, SB 2211, that is being considered by the Legislature.
