Several members of the CableOne advertising sales team in Fargo have received the CableOne Corporate Presidents Club Award for 2012.
Award winners included:
Shereen Stark, regional sales manager; and Dick Johnson and Debra Brown, account managers.
Greg Burd earned the Rookie of the Year award, given to the companys top sales executive with one full year of service.
Johnson earns gold level sales award
Neil Johnson, a salesman at Sir Speedy in Fargo, has been recognized as a 2012 Gold Level Top Performer. The award is presented annually to recognize top achievers in the Sir Speedy franchise network.
Johnson was one of only 26 salespeople to receive Gold Level status from more than 300 worldwide.
for lawyer of year honor
Lowell P. Bottrell, Fargo, a shareholder attorney with the Anderson, Bottrell, Sanden and Thompson law firm, was selected by his peers as Lawyer of the Year for 2013 for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2013.
He was selected in the field of bankruptcy and creditor and debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law.
Mary Kay sales director earns 10th career car
Jill Unruh, Detroit Lakes, Minn., has earned the use of a new Chevy Equinox for her achievements in operating her independent Mary Kay business. This is her 10th Mary Kay career car.
Unruh is an independent sales director and began her Mary Kay career in 1992.
Page farmer wins $5K for nonprofit groups
Jim Thompson, Page, N.D., has been selected as a winner in Americas Farmers Grow Communities, a program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund.
This year, the program gave farmers the opportunity to win $5,000 to donate to their favorite local nonprofit organizations.
Thompson has selected Central Cass Dollars for Scholars and the Page Movie Theater as his two charities and each has received a $2,500 donation.

Prudential Premier Real Estate, Fargo, has been named as the nations 12th-leading fundraiser for the Sunshine Kids Foundation in 2012.
Daryl Braham, broker/owner, and Lyn Dwyer, managing broker of Prudential Premier, were recognized at the recent Prudential Real Estate sales convention in Las Vegas.
Prudential Premier raises funds for the foundation throughout the year and hosts a summer barbecue and annual golf tournament and silent auction. Funds raised help send local children with cancer on the trip of a lifetime.
Gregor named agent of month by New York Life
David A. Gregor, Fargo, was named Februarys new organization agent of the month in the North Dakota General Office of New York Life Insurance Co.
A New York Life agent for two years, Gregor received the award in recognition of outstanding sales, client service and professionalism.
Financial reps named college unit directors
Dustin Herrmann and Bret Kinzler, financial representatives with Northwestern Mutual, have been appointed college unit directors in the Fargo area.
They will continue to be part of a network of specialists offering a range of products, and they will also recruit, train and mentor financial representative interns.
Herrmann, a native of Fargo, earned a bachelors degree in financial planning from Jamestown (N.D.) College. Kinzler is originally from Kensal, N.D., and earned a bachelors degree in business administration and finance from North Dakota State University.
Border States Electric drivers earn awards
Four Border States Electric drivers earned safe driving awards at the 2012 North Dakota Safety Councils annual Safety and Health Conference.
Those earning awards included:
E James Preston, Fargo, Driver of the Year and Star Division 1. Hes been driving for more than 20 years and has logged about 1.2 million incident-free miles.
E Mark Cartier, Grand Forks, Star Driver Division 1. Hes been working for BSE for more than 30 years and has logged about 950,000 incident-free miles.
E Tim Gehring, Bismarck, Star Driver Division 1. Hes been working for BSE for more than 10 years and has logged about 350,000 incident-free miles.
E Jeff Dillman, Bismarck, Safe Driver Division 1. Hes been with BSE for six years and has logged about 400,000 incident-free miles.
Steve Asche qualifies
for Summit Circle honor
Steve Asche, Fargo, a wealth adviser with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, has qualified for the Summit Circle conference. Only 9 percent of Thrivent Financials nearly 2,300 financial representatives qualify for the honor.
Asche has been with Thrivent Financial for 21 years.
