Two new employees

at NetWork Center Inc.

The NetWork Center Inc., Fargo, has hired Kyle Kornkven and Mike Orcutt as help desk technicians.

Kornkven graduated with a degree in computer information systems from Mayville (N.D.) State University. He was previously a consultant at a software company in Valley City, N.D., and a help desk technician at a university.

Orcutt graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with an associate degree in computer and network technology. He previously worked for five years as a help desk technician and a network administrator for a telecommunications company.

Gratton hired as an account representative

Netrix IT, Fargo, has hired Shanna Gratton as an account representative. Gratton has an extensive background in project and resource management and in mass communications.

She most recently worked for Target corporate headquarters in Minneapolis. She also is the director of program and technology for the North Dakota Leadership Seminar.

Gratton is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a degree in international studies.

Beaman, Mostue

join local KLJ offices

KLJ has hired Kathy Beaman as a senior transmission line engineer in its Moorhead office and Brianna Mostue as a right-of-way specialist in its Fargo office.

Beaman earned a bachelors degree in civil engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind. She is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota and has more than 12 years of experience in new-line construction and rebuilding existing transmission lines.

Mostue recently earned certification in title and abstract search. Prior to KLJ, she gained multiple years of experience through a local real estate business.

Bremer Bank hires

Fritz, promotes Conklin

Bremer Bank, Fargo, has hired Heidi Fritz in treasury management support and promoted Kathy Conklin to business services associate.

Fritz was previously an administrative assistant at Starion Financial in Fargo and also worked as a client service manager at Keller Williams Roers Realty, Fargo. She attended Rasmussen Business College.

Conklin joined Bremer Bank in 2011 as a loan records specialist and moved into a business loan processor role. She previously held various positions at Cargill, Community First and U.S. Bank in Fargo. She has a business degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead.

Carpenter joins Bethany as social worker

Mandy Carpenter has been hired as a social worker at Bethany Retirement Living.

She will be involved in ongoing resident assessment, developing residents plans of care and communicating with family members regarding care provided at Bethany on 42nd.

Carpenter, a native of St. John, N.D., has a bachelors degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Marco hires Carlson

as sales rep in Fargo

Charles Carlson has been hired as a sales representative in the document solutions department for Marco in Fargo.

Miller joins law firm

as associate attorney

Ann E. Miller has joined Anderson, Bottrell, Sanden & Thompson in Fargo as an associate attorney.

Miller concentrates her practice in general civil litigation, commercial litigation, commercial transactions and housing law.

She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Grand Forks. She previously worked at Jeffries, Olson & Flom, practicing in the areas of general civil litigation and insurance defense.

Before attending law school, Miller worked for the Minnesota House in St. Paul after graduating from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, with a bachelors degree in political science.

Western State Bank hires credit analyst

Mark Bakkum has joined Western State Bank, West Fargo, as a credit analyst.

He was previously a credit analyst intern at Northland Financial, Bis-marck.

Originally from Steele, N.D., Bakkum earned a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Mary, Bismarck.

Chad Kost named COO

at Spectrum Aeromed

Spectrum Aeromed, Fargo, has named Chad Kost to the companys new position of chief operating officer.

Kost pre-viously worked for the company as a consultant. He also worked for 17 years in the banking industry, most recently managing the financial reporting for Bank of the Wests consumer loan portfolio. He was also involved in the banks mergers and acquisitions, credit analysis, business banking, project management and bank integration.

He graduated from Mayville (N.D.) State University with a bachelors degree in business administration and earned a masters degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.

Corporate Technologies hires Letnes, Tougas

Corporate Technologies, Fargo, has hired Jens Letnes and Duane Tougas.

Letnes graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelors degree in computer information systems. He was previously employed as an information systems specialist and in network administration at Drayton Enterprises and Cass-Clay Creamery, Fargo,

Tougas previously worked for Fargo Clinic/

MeritCare as a purchasing agent. He graduated from MSUM with an associate degree in microcomputer support and network administration.

TMI Hospitality

hires purchasing agent

Kayla Fuller has been hired as a purchasing agent by TMI Hospitality, Fargo.

Fuller earned a bachelors degree in apparel and textiles, with a minor in business, from North Dakota State University.

She previously worked in Vanitys corporate office in Fargo, where she was an assistant buyer, allocator and interim accessory buyer.

John Deere Electronic Solutions hires Buresh

John Deere Electronic Solutions, Fargo, has hired Brian Buresh as an electronic design engineer.

Buresh graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelors degree in electrical and computer engineering.

ND Soybean Growers hires executive director

Nancy Johnson has been named executive director of the North Dakota Soybean Growers Association.

Johnson has experience writing for agriculture publications and she also worked as a consultant for agriculture companies.

She also has more than 30 years of experience in agricultural marketing and strategic planning.

Nurse practitioner

joins Lake Park clinic

Karin Halverson, a nurse practitioner in family medicine, has joined the Essentia Health St. Marys Clinic in Lake Park, Minn.

She will also see patients at Essentias clinics in Frazee and Detroit Lakes, Minn.

Halverson works with family practice physicians Neil and Anita Jonason at the Lake Park clinic.

Halverson grew up in Lake Park and her medical career has included trauma nursing and providing humanitarian medical care in Iraq, Uganda, West Africa, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia and Haiti. She served in the Air National Guard for 22 years.

Two promoted

at Cornerstone Bank

Cornerstone Bank, Fargo, has promoted Michelle Byrum and Ryan Johnson to assistant vice presidents of personal banking. Johnson is also the bank security officer.

Byrum has been with Cornerstone Bank since 2007 as a personal banker and customer service manager. She has 18 years of banking experience.

Johnson was hired at Cornerstone Bank in 2008 as a personal banker and has 17 years of banking experience. He was named bank security officer in 2010.
