OSHA investigating North Dakota Oil Patch death

STANLEY, N.D. — The Mountrail County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death of a worker in the western North Dakota Oil Patch.

Authorities say 31-year-old Joshua Hoiland, of Minot, died last Thursday at an oil site south of Stanley. They say he was cleaning a truck owned by First Choice Energy Services when he was struck by a piece of equipment.

He died at the scene.
