West Fargo woman taken to hospital after car collides with trainWEST FARGO – A 31-year-old West Fargo woman was taken to the hospital early today after her vehicle struck a train here.
According to the West Fargo Police Department:
The incident happened about 7 a.m. in the 200 block of 7th Avenue N.W., when the woman approached an uncontrolled railroad crossing.
The driver saw the train at the last minute and attempted to stop, but slid on the ice into the train.
The woman was taken to Sanford Health with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
No other details were available.
