AMC, Cable One reach multi-year dealPHOENIX – Fear not, local fans of “Walking Dead” and “Mad Men.”
As alert messages scrolling across the screen of Cable One subscribers have been noting for weeks, there was a Friday deadline for AMC to reach a deal with the sole cable service available in Fargo, other than dish providers.
A news release from Cable One sent just before 7 p.m. stated that the company, which serves 730,000 customers in 19 states, had reached a carriage agreement with AMC.
Cable One didn’t release any details about the deal, which it described as a new multiyear agreement that also applies to WE tv, a station targeted at women.
That means Cable One subscribers will still be able to get their fix of zombies and advertising agencies.
