EaND Synod Assembly set in JamestownJAMESTOWN, N.D. – The 26th annual Eastern North Dakota Synod Assembly is April 20 and 21 at the Jamestown Civic Center.
The Rev. Bill Rindy, bishop of the EaND Synod, will preach as attendees gather under the theme “Together at the Crossroads.”
Special guests include: the Rev. Mark Narum, bishop of the Western North Dakota Synod; the Rev. Herbert Chilstrom, the first presiding bishop of the ELCA; and Jonathan Beyer, information technology executive for the ELCA.
The synod assembly is the annual gathering of pastors, associates in ministry, lay voting members and visitors who represent the congregations that make up the Eastern North Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Attendance at the assembly is expected of all pastors and associates in ministry under call.
