Letter: Thanks to angels who protected usOn Monday night (March 4) my family experienced a family emergency. My daughter Lindsey and her girlfriend Mirela were returning home from Omaha, Neb., when Lindsey’s car spun out of control on the slippery icy roads (about 50 miles south of Fargo).
My message is to thank the good lord, for the angels that were with Lindsey and Mirela Monday night; the angels God provided were many. Good Samaritans stopped at the accident scene. One woman, Han, gave the girls blankets and had the girls jump in her car. Han called 911 and let the girls use her phone to call family members. Another Good Samaritan, Aaron, comforted the girls, asking if they knew any place that they were injured.
God also allowed the rescue crew from Great Bend, N.D., to travel safely to the accident scene, as well as Hankinson, N.D., ambulance personnel.
Through God’s saving grace, Lindsey and Mirela were both wearing their seat belts.
Han stayed at the accident scene while the ambulance personal cared for Lindsey and Mirela. The ambulance personnel decided the girls should be taken to St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, Minn., for testing and observation. Han followed the ambulance to St. Francis to make sure my daughter and her friend were OK.
God works in mysterious ways. He allows us to see his works in ways that are not always clear.
It is my grateful thanks to you, our choir and parish for sharing of faith that guide me and my family.
