Denying ND killer a dental crown not cruel and unusual, court rules
Gaede, who was convicted of killing Timothy Wicks in 2001, claimed in court documents that he requested a root canal and crown after he cracked a tooth, but the tooth was pulled instead.
In a decision filed Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals said it found no reason to overturn a lower court’s ruling dismissing the case.
Gaede is serving a life sentence without parole.
