Fargo Freeze Peewee hockey team wins a state title

GRAND FORKS – The Fargo Freeze Peewee ‘B’ Gray boys hockey team won a North Dakota state championship with its 2-0 title win over the MayPort Ice Dogs.

The Freeze opened the tournament with a 3-2 win over Hazen-Beulah followed by a 3-2 win over the Richland Rangers.

In the title game against MayPort, the Freeze got goals from Nick Anderson and Michael Wold, while goalie Jared Winter did not allow a goal.
