Maple Valley prevails at District 2 tourney

FARGO – Cassie Pautz scored 20 points and Megan Kasowski added 18 points as Maple Valley defeated Kindred 56-51 in the semifinals of the North Dakota Class B, District 2 girls basketball tournament Saturday at the Fargo Civic Center.

Abbie Tinjum added 13 points and eight assists for Maple Valley.

Kellie Schmit led the Vikings with 18 points.
