Gustavus rolls past Cobbers for MIAC women's hockey title

ST. PETER, Minn. – Gustavus captured its 10th straight Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s hockey championship with a 4-1 victory over Concordia on Saturday.

The Cobbers struck first with a goal from Madison Gendreau but then gave up four unanswered goals.

Allison Eder-Zdechlik netted two goals for the Gusties (26-0-1).

Anna Westmark assisted on Gendreau’s goal for the Cobbers.

Madison Denny made 44 saves for Concordia, which finishes its season with a 13-8-5 overall record and an 11-4-3 mark in league play.
