Letter: Red River students were offensive, tacky

I find that the three students from Red River High School who had on the Klu Klux Klan hoods were very ignorant, offensive and tacky. They should be suspended or expelled from school because they are not ready for the real world.

Why don’t you kids who think that this was so funny go into your local post office and federal building with those hoods on and see what happens?

Where are you parents? There is absolutely no excuse for the obscene behavior.

I suggest that the film “Journey to Little Rock” be mandatory for all schools and their parents. They will be educated as to what happened in 1957.

I am glad Dr. Terrence Roberts (one of the Little Rock Nine) was not in town this past weekend. He was in Fargo just a few weeks ago for the premiere of this film. It would have been very embarrassing.
