Moorhead man pleads guilty to raping pregnant exotic dancer
Clay County prosecutors wouldn’t talk about details of the plea deal, but prosecutor Heidi Davies said it would meant “significant” prison time for 29-year-old Jesse Paskey.
Minnesota sentencing guidelines for a first-degree criminal sexual contact conviction call for between 12 and 30 years, depending on prior criminal history.
Paskey, a convicted sex offender, had been charged charged in Clay County District Court with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, felony kidnapping and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident happened Dec. 23 in Paskey’s home, after the victim came there to perform a dance.
He is set to be sentenced April 5.
