Handel’s homer helps Gophers to baseball win against Bison

MINNEAPOLIS – Michael Handel went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs as Minnesota defeated North Dakota State 4-2 in college baseball Wednesday at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.

Kirk Kenneally drove in two runs for the Bison (3-4). NDSU starting pitcher Parker Trewin allowed two runs on five hits in five innings.
