West Fargo’s Walsh decides on UW-River Falls

WEST FARGO – West Fargo senior girls hockey standout Hayley Walsh has committed to play college hockey at NCAA Division III University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Walsh was North Dakota’s scoring champion this season finishing with 90 points (44 goals, and 46 assists). She ranks fourth all-time in the state’s single-season scoring list and was tied with teammate Kelly Krahn for the most goals scored in a single season in Packers history.

Walsh was named to the All-State and All-East Region teams this season.
