Faith, work in finance topic of luncheonMOORHEAD – The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will host a luncheon from noon to 1:15 p.m. March 15 in the Birkeland Alumni Lounge at Concordia.
The topic will be “What Does My Faith Have To Do With My Work in Finance?”
Speakers will be Michael Solberg, president and chief operating officer of Bell State Bank and Trust, and Ann McConn, president of the Fargo market for Alerus Financial.
Solberg launched the bank’s Pay It Forward project, providing every full-time employee with $1,000 each year to give to those in need. Solberg also provides leadership to several local organizations.
McConn has been in the banking and trust business for 24 years. She is a chartered financial analyst and a certified financial planner. She also serves on the boards of directors of United Way of Cass-Clay and Nordian Mutual Insurance Co.
