Wolf, mystery programs set next month at Red River Zoo

FARGO – The Red River Zoo announced on Sunday that it will host two special events next month.

“Feast or Famine,” a program focusing on the gray wolf, is set for 7-8 p.m. on March 7. The event will highlight the hunting and feeding behavior of wolves, and participants will be able to watch the wolves have their evening meal – a full deer carcass.

“Mystery at the Zoo,” scheduled for 1-3 p.m. on March 7 and again on March 9, will put kids’ investigation skills to the test. Participants will collect and analyze clues to solve the mystery of who let the dogs out.

Both events cost $15 for zoo members and $20 for nonmembers. Space is limited for both programs, and people are encouraged to register in advance. For more information or to register, call the zoo at (701) 277-9240 or go to www.redriverzoo.org.
