Perham gets fourth at MN state gymnastics

MINNEAPOLIS – Perham picked up a fourth-place finish in Class 1A at the Minnesota state gymnastics championships Saturday at the University of Minnesota’s Sports Pavilion.

New Prague won the Class 1A title with 149.600 points. Perham had 143.300.

Yellowjackets freshman Justine Meyer finished fourth in the balance beam with a score of 8.500.

Detroit Lakes eighth-grader Molly Lyngaas earned sixth place in the all-around with a score of 37.075.

In Class 2A, Moorhead’s Maren Seljevold finished in fourth place in the balance beam with a score of 9.475.
