Woken's hat trick paces Bruins to consolation winGRAND FORKS – Alex Woken scored three goals to help Fargo South-Davies to a 6-0 win over Williston in the consolation semifinals of the North Dakota state girls hockey tournament on Friday at Olympic Arena.
South-Davies (15-10-0) advances to play Minot in the fifth-place game at 2:30 p.m. at Olympic Arena.
Lindsay LaMont, Madi Hanson and McKenna Moore also scored for the Bruins.
Sophomore goalie Emily Grothmann stopped nine shots to earn the shutout.

Makaila Anderson scored a goal 6 minutes, 13 seconds into overtime to help Minot defeat Fargo North 2-1 in the consolation semifinals on Friday at Olympic Arena.
Fargo North’s Kari Volk scored a goal at the 4:19 mark of the third period, but Minot’s Bryanna Bergeron netted the equalizer with 2:47 left to play in regulation to force overtime.
North finishes the season (9-16-0).
