Dragons softball opens season with split at NSIC Crossover

ST. PAUL – The Minnesota State Moorhead softball team opened its season Tuesday by splitting a pair of games at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Crossover.

The Dragons were held to one hit in an 8-0 loss to Minnesota-Duluth in their first game.

Kelly Watson drove in three runs and Amanda Moore homered as MSUM won its second game 7-4 against Bemidji State.
